I had the exact same situation :)
I first bought the silver dial 36 and loved it for a few months until I realised it looked somewhat "reduced" and it was not well balanced on my wrist which had started to bother me. It was sitting a little high from some reason. Then I sold it and got myself a 39 rhodium. And I absolutely love it, it is a tad more dressier watch (do consider if important for you) but also sits on my wrist more comfortably, perhaps because of better proportions, I am not sure... 39 rhodium is a keeper |

I don't like the accent dots on the 39. However, I don't care for the double sticks at 3 and 9 on the 36. So, I'd probable get a DJ 36 or 41.
