Just seems insane to me. First the DaytonaC, now the SD43.
They are doing it, just look at Blowers or Watchfinder in the UK! Massive turnover at massive premiums.

I bloody wouldn't!!

Would love for Rolex to do what Porsche did with the GT3 RS, and produce many many more than the "collectors" expect/hope for. Porsche decided they are a car maker and upped production to meet demand. Hoping Rolex sees that the SD50 is such a niche that they can make and sell as many as they can without hurting other model sales making the watch regularly available at any AD.

well the local jeweller upped his offer to £12k today, but I've declined as I value my relationship with my AD and currently waiting for a Ceramic Daytona.

Selling at 10,300 EUR in Spain, local tax included.

My local Rolex boutique tell me they already sold the five units they received and I'm way down on the waiting list with little chance of getting one this year. They seem to be selling like hot cakes. Waiting list where I live means no discount, zero, nought, nada de nada.

At my local multibrand AD however, I'm #1 on the list. They haven't received them yet. I'm prepared to pay retail if I'm blown away. That would be a first.

That's probably David's 3rd SD43 for sale now.

Wow! I don't check his website for a week or so and miss all the action. didn't see any threads here about the gray market price either. My business is getting in the way of fun!

Didn't really expect the SD50 to have ceramic Daytona like markups on the gray market. Unrealistic expectations on my part it seems...

Paul Thorpe had one listed on Linked In last week for £14995. No idea if it sold or not.

Local AD has now broken through the 100 person waiting list for this piece! I don't think prices are going to drop soon.

My AD asks for $3,000 premium which of course I said no.
I don't think it will be a Daytona C so I will wait

The price for SD43 drops dramatically in Canada gray market lately, since quite a few start to show up.

I see sellers here do this too. I too will not succumb to "scalping"
My AD today suggested the wait is 3 weeks so if true not that long.
