In any case I insisted I would still like to pass by. Do you think there is anything I can do to walk out with a piece? He mentioned they have reserved one piece to show to potential customers. Any advice appreciated. What can I do? I am never in Europe and it seems the stars have aligned to be in a city with a bucherer boutique.

Im keeping my fingers crossed for you. I know they received 10 pieces, of which one is for showcasing. At least 3 were sold the first day, and apparently there is twenty-something on the waiting list. On good authority, I have been told that they will receive a total of 18 pieces this year. 10 in the first batch, 5, in the following and then 3.

Hopefully somebody on the list hasn't picked up their watch and you can snatch it up. The key is to just be polite. An envelope of cash won't get anybody further than a polite request and a creditcard :-)

But ask for the guy called Stig (you dont pronounce the G). He is a very nice guy and is the guy in charge of the list. So if somebody didn't pick up their watch, he would be the first to know.

On a sidenote, unfortunately that part of our city, has seen a dramatic increase in watch targeted theft over the last 6 months. Mostly in the evening/at night, but just be aware.

I hope you will enjoy your stay in our capital. If in need of any advice dont hesitate to shoot me a direct message in here.

Now, this is a post! Thank you for your insight this is exactly what I was looking for and what makes TRF the best. If i am able to get lucky, i will definitely put it away and not wear it. Also good to know since I am wearing a Rolex 116710BLNR on this trip so I will maintain situational awareness.

Most of all I appreciate you keeping your fingers crossed for me. Along with the exclusivity of it, I will always remember the story behind what it took to get this piece (if I am lucky enough to snag one). As most in here can relate, the heart wants what the heart wants.

Awesome!! Was the availability in Copenhagen just as bad as everywhere else? All sold out and massive wait lists for the next batch?
I'm going to be in Copenhagen next month and would love to pick one up!!

I suppose that sums it up well. The number of people on the list exceeds to amount of watches they expect to recieve in 2017. Luckily my friend and I were number one and two on the list.

Absolute stunner. Can you let us know if the stem matches the color of the bezel like on the other black bay watches? (I.e. The stem is red on the original Tudor Black Bay)

For anyone seriously interested in this watch that lives in the US, I used a service called Parcl.com -- a shipper in Paris went to Bucherer, purchased the watch, and shipped it to me for a fee. Worked out fine. All told, from posting on Parcl to having watch in hand was around five days.

Probably not easily because Bucherer is not set up to ship internationally directly.

Probably but they told me it would be about two months (from last week) until the next shipment arrives.

Didn't lose, but didn't win

Update on my visit.

I made it to Bucherer. Started off well enough with good conversation and built great rapport. I dressed the part with a smart blue/brown combo. Unfortunately, I was told there were no more in the store, only the display model remained which could not be sold. I explained i was prepared to pay in full in cash.. The water was brought out. The chocolate was brought out. Name: Hopes.jpg

I felt i was getting somewhere. Phone calls were made and the answer came back in the negative, the display watch would not be sold

Since i made an appearance at the store, my information was taken and I was given the option of being contacted in July when more arrive so that i could purchase one virtually and have shipped to me at home. So i feel the trip wasn't a complete loss....

In the end, i walked out empty handed. Well, not really i have a paper that gives me hope for the future. So i guess it's not the end amirite? Or perhaps that's the line they give everyone? I enjoyed the experience with nothing but very nice employees in the store nonetheless who were kind it let me snap a nice shot at the end of the visit.

I know it's a NATO strap but that watch on that strap looks phenomenal. One of the best looking watches I have seen.

If one crossed my path I would go out o my way to get it.

I'd been back home in the UK last week, if you were local to me I would have given you a peek over a beer.

Never mind - you can always PM me where you are, and I can let you know next time I pop back

OK folks, on Monday just past (29th May) I visited Bucherer Vienna.

Again

Unfortunately no further details were available with reference to the Bucherer Tudor Black Bay Blue Bronze.

HOWEVER, I did to get to view the Moser Bucherer Blue and below is a link
to the hopefully correct part of the forum.
