Congratulations. I agree 100%. Just don't sit right with me paying over the odds.

I am on that list
If and when a new SS GMT bi-color bezel comes out I am first on the list at a large AD. Did not happen this year but I confirmed I am on the list for next year or whenever.

I have the white dial 116520 which I purchased from an AD during the depth of the Great Recession, when many ADs were closing shop left and right.
If I get a call from an AD with a 116500, then great! However I am not losing sleep waiting for a phone call from an AD for a 116500. After all, it is just a watch. Unless you are looking to flip the watch for a quick profit and do not want to lose that window of opportunity, there is no rush to receive a regular production watch. When the time comes when an AD has a 116500 available and gives me a call to offer one, I will be ready. But there is no desperation of "I need to have one!" on my part. |

Out of curiosity I asked my ad and they said wait time is around 5-6 years already, and they stopped even putting new names down at this point

Been in the queue at my AD for a while dial 116500 for about 6 months. Been told I'll get it this year. Looking forward to submitting a side by side photo of it with my Platona.

Thanks Tony! Both in a year and quite happy with that! I have spent just a few dollars of course with my AD over the years.

All my local AD's have closed their lists so I couldn't get on one even if I wanted one
