Only thing I'd say is, it didn't quite feel as expensive as the m3 for the money. Not all of the materials were up to par I'd say. Also the door is sort of small, I'm a tall person and I found it a bit awkward to step inside.

So as it stands, the alfa is out. the merc is out. However, the M3 hasn't completely won my heart over. I revisited and to me it sounds a bit too robotic if that makes sense. Is there any other 4 door sports saloon I'm missing?
In similar size category (but slightly worse performance) - def look at the Audi S4 / S5 sportback options. Loaded with technology, ride great and interiors are TOP notch.

I recently picked up an RS7 and cannot recommend that car highly enough (also strongly considered panamera turbo and M6 gran coupe before ruling those out).

I'm very pleased with many of the current audi lineup and you def can't go wrong with many of their models especially S / RS versions.

Now that's got my attention. I've never owned an audi but this really struck me. Are those BBS wheels on it too? Perfect combo if so. I'd lower mine a tinge more but it looks phenomenal. Hows the reliability?

We have been nothing but an audi family for the past 4 years -- and just ordered a new S4 for the wife to replace her A6 TDI shes had (not one issue in 2.5 years!!).

My last S4 I put on 60K miles without a single issue in 3.5 years (GREAT car, it was a 2013). One of the top reasons I keep sticking with Audi is how bulletproof they have been for us.

Yes those are BBS wheels. Car is stock factory daytona matte gray paint, spectacular in person.

The RS7s are easily lowered through Vag-Com as they ride on air suspension (some come with steel springs as an upgraded option for a stiffer ride). Mine is lowered ~1cm from stock but can go more (up to 17mm). Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

Plus not to mention supercar like performance in one family-friendly, cargo hauling, road trip taking package.

RS7 is a bit over what I was looking to spend but if it's as good as you say it is, I'm willing to play. I'm going to schedule a test drive now.

Let me know what you think :) I should contact audi for a nice large commission after their spike in sales...

Yes - the RS7 are a bit pricey even used but the great part about them vs all of their competition is they hold their value the best as well. Heck look up ANY RS car - they have fared very well over the years. Post feedback on your test drive!

Then you definitely should not visit any BMW forums.

Yes it came with free scheduled maintenance for 48 months 80 km.

I know the free isn't really "free" but at least there shouldn't be any surprises

I think you'll be fine, I've had quite a few and they've been good to me which is why I have this dilemma. Also what did you get?

Yeah, I would not have thought as much, but I have to agree. I surprised that this is a known issue and that the fix is to provide free top offs. Thats just kind of crazy.

I recently picked up a 2014 SL550 for the weekends and I am liking it more everyday. I have also gotten my wife a C43 AMG and I like that a lot too.

I imagine, if all continues as planned, I would put myself into a AMG SUV of some sort. I am not sure exactly which one yet.

But with all the new cars that are coming out, and the two years I have until my warranty is up, I am imagine that I will be thinking about a lot of different things.

If Audi comes out with the Q7 in a V8, I think that would probably be my tops.

This to me is the one.

If I could get in and out easily, I would be all over it. I think it is one of the fastest cars on the road today, and the look is incredible, the sound is outrageous, and the tech is top notch.

If I had a ton of loot. And more garages, I would be buying one of these today.

I would also look strongly at the new 550i, faster than outgoing M5 and probably hits the price point. That would probably be my number one consideration.

SQ7 coming out in a year or so with a turbo v8 diesel. Might be worth considering.

Cant wait to see pics. That is going to be a beauty. Congrats.

And FWIW, I am pretty sure that you have no known issues that engine or vehicle as a whole.
