Keep the 5711 and trade in the rest.

You'd have the Platona, 5711 and the SD4K which is a great collection.

I would keep the BLNR at all costs. It has GMT , useful timing bezel and triplock crown.

That's a really sweet collection you've got there. Assuming each piece is special to you for various reasons. Plus, it is versatile. I wouldn't trade it all out as you e suggested.

Just to clarify I was getting 10k GBP plus the Platona.

However I decided against the deal for 2 reasons.

1. 5711 just to good to lose even
with platinum fever.

2. Wife loves the dd2 and won't let me sell ( so I guess that's the real reason!)

However I now have mega urge for a new watch and decided to part ex my BLNR and GSOM plus cash from me for a BNIB WG sub.

This affliction can't be tamed but I have curbed my Platona fever until next year to justify a big 40 birthday present to myself :)

In coming in about 7 days !

Great trade for the other guy, not you. 116506 can be had for less than $50k, your pile is way over that. Whoever proposed this trade is not looking for even value.

If you want precious metal, Daytona c with the same movement as platona go for the new white gold oysterflex first. Keep that 5711 in your collection and move the rest. That would be a lovely threesome

As you are in UK def good decision to hold on to the 5711. WG sub is a nice addition.
