If people were upset about neighbors employing celebratory gunfire, I'd get that. But hating on fireworks mystifies me.
Thanks for your service but you are clearly ignorant when it comes to pets and explosions.

Your pets seem to have a problem. Mine never did. And until this thread, I've never heard so much whining about fireworks on the fourth of July.

Independence Day is one of my favorite holidays. Cooked up a couple of pork butts, a low country boil, and a few other items. Had about 50 guests over for a fun little get together that was capped off with an awesome fireworks display. Our Yorkie was there. I don't know and I don't really care if fireworks scare her. She's a dog, and she can just deal with it.

Based on your other posts regarding pets, specifically dogs, you wouldn't notice if they did have a problem to begin with. If you had, you wouldn't care anyway

My little dog never had an issue with fireworks, thunderstorms or anything like that. Nothing much phased her apart from rain. I'm guessing she was a tough little cookie because she spent time as a stray and we rescued her from the Dog's Trust. But try getting her out of the house in the rain! More chance of biting your own butt. So much for bull terriers being tough!

Chanel purses, hotdog eating, and pets... troll or NPD - you decide.

Seems there's nothing some of you guys won't argue out of all proportion. Some people need to cool down.
