As far as celebrity chef restaurants that I have eaten in, I will list in order of favorites.
Tied for #1:
Mario Batali (Babbo, Del Posto, Eataly) and
Bobby Flay (Bobby's Burger Bar, Bar Americain NYC for brunch, Mesa Grill NYC and LAS)
#3 Thomas Keller (Bouchon)
#4 Anthony Bordain (Brasserrie Les Halles) both Bouchon and Les Halles serve Steak Frites better than any other restaurant on the planet.
#5 Kevin Rathbun
#6 Linton Hopkins
#7 Lidia Bastianich
#8 Anne Quatrano
#9 Wolfgang Puck

I would not eat in a Guy Fieri restaurant if you paid me. That guy is an absolute food hack.

I would have to think Adria will make a comeback at some point, it's tough for a chef to hang up their hat forever. The guys is an absolute genius.

I don't think he's interested in running a restaurant anymore. He walked away at the peak of his popularity and turned El Bulli into a research center for all things edible.

His brother has a couple amazing restaurants in Barcelona

Because he's not a chef. Despite what he portrays himself to be, he was nothing more than a line cook at Les Halles. He never created a menu or a dish. It's a great place but anyone working there could whip up steak frites or the rest of the brasserie fare they serve.

Bottom line is that he's a better author and TV personality than chef

That's only my opinion. You can look at the topic in a couple ways. Who's your favorite celebrity chef could mean who you like to watch on TV or who you want to cook your dinner.

If it's the latter, Bourdain wouldn't even make the list. I stand by my statement. I like Les Halle's and are there dozens of times. It's no different now than when he was running the kitchen. That says something considering that there are restaurants that go out of business once the executive chef leaves.

I ate at the Gordon Ramsey restaurant in the Paris Las Vegas hotel and it was bad. One of the toughest steaks I've ever had. I'll never go back on my own dime.
