I was originally thinking to buy this exact white stick DJ41 but eventually backed off because I personally felt it was too modern and not classic Rolex. Maybe I am an old soul but I prefer my Rolex's to look timeless. The ones they are producing now don't feel as iconic and elegant to me.
Don't get me wrong, its a beautiful watch and I can see why someone would want one. Rolex has improved the finishes but I think they are losing their soul in the process of modernization. I hope they don't go the way of BMW.

Interesting post and beautiful watch. If the olive green dial was available on this model and the clasp was hidden, I would get one.

Stopped by to check them out today.
They didn't have the white dial, but hopefully soon. So nice.

Was browsing Ben Bridge today and tried on some DJ41s. I completely fell for the two-tone YG with jubilee and champagne dial that Syed has posted above. The pictures don't do it justice. I've never been a fan of two-tone and that particular model has "Grandpa's watch" written all over it. And yet... I put it on and I was in love.

Great thread, I have the Fluted Rhodium on Jubille in my sights. I've always been a sports model fan but after trying the new 39mm DJ 41 (???) I'm changing my thinking also.

I have had my DJ41 for 10 days and it is running at 0 error. That's with a combination of sitting on the dresser, on a winder, and wearing. I don't expect it to hold 0 permanently, but it does show it's a very accurate movement. I am impressed and pleased with it.

Wow! Mine is about three weeks and has maintained +1.8 for that period. Will reset on the 1st and see if it changes. Hats within Superlative COSC - and 99.998% accuracy so it's nothing to complain about. Good luck having a nil deviation! I wear mine all day every day except when I sleep :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
