Full Disclosure. I'm a Dolphins fan and I couldn't care less about the Cutler signing

Why?

It doesn't matter. Barring injury, the Patriots have this season locked up 100%

I can't see any other team stopping them.

Yeah it's really just about who is in the best position to take advantage if and when TB12, god forbid, is injured.

I think the Pats could still win it behind Jimmy.

Good point. I think they could as well, they just wouldn't be a lock unless Jimmy is even better than I think he is....which is certainly possible.

Kaep's sideshow distraction is similar to Tebow. Too much off field distraction to the locker room and their play doesn't justify the distraction. Look at Richard Sherman who's almost as big a sideshow but he can still play at a high level so the Seahawks will put up with it.

Teams will put up with a lot of distraction if they think a player can make them better. Sherm is a PITA, but Greg Hardy was a primadonna nut case at Carolina before the domestic violence, and still got another shot in Dallas after the DV publicity showed him to be a monster as well.

Kaep didn't air his opinions as a starter, he was already riding the pine. There's just not enough upside to put up with any of the distractions he brings to a team.

I use to like Sherman. I appreciate that he is intelligent and very good at his position. I also like that he doesn't take crap from anyone.

I just can't stand the fact that he's constantly angry and whining. Ffs smile and be happy once in awhile.

Well, I don't think that bringing Cutler in will cure this... As a Dolphins fan, I would sign for an 8-8.

Bills trade away the present, hoping for a better future.

I can see Watkins, but trading Darby makes no sense.

Watkins move is good by me. He just can't stay healthy. What we were able to get in return tells all about his value regardless of his potential when healthy.

I don't understand dumping Darby. I assume they don't love him and are planning to lose as many games as possible. I have no idea if this Gaines guy from LA is any good.

The 🙌 and the fins. I was lucky enough to be in attendance for all the home games in '72(and 13 other seasons).

Cutler will look good in preseason and one or two games. Then, when you're starting to think 'playoffs', he'll throw three INTs, get sacked four times and fumble twice. It's going to be a long season...

I read any player that doesn't fit into their defensive scheme, is on the chopping blocks (they specifically mentioned Reggie Ragland in the article too). This prolly factored in their decision... First Gilmore, now Darby.

As for Sammy, a very good player, with a crap QB. Add in that he didn't like it here, and it's
This will prolly be his breakout yr, 16 games, 1400 yds and 100+ catches.

Basically Miami signed another Tannehill...look like a superstar one game, clueless the next...Us Dolphin fans are used to long seasons, it's been downhill since the Shula, Marino years.

Agreed except I have a much different opinion on Watkins. Also he's getting a QB downgrade in my opinion.

My seasons over; I have watched the Cowboys since the early 70s and now they lose their half-back for six games for domestic battery.

The Boyz will be fine. Dak's performance will be more important than Zeke.

The bears signed infamous second round bust kicker Roberto Aguayo today.

Cheeky strategy to tank more games lol?

The real joke is on the buccaneers for drafting him in the second lol

Even the haters and doubters would have a difficult time not being obvious about their bias when arguing to the contrary. That said, this isn't sport where you can continue to ride roughshod over your competition year after year, injury age mistakes catch up at some point and not that it happens this year but I can easily see there being something off that keeps them from quite reaching another SB win.

LOL, Seahawks wasted a bunch of points yesterday. It will take several regular season games to get that output from the O

The legion of gloom didn't look too hot. Age and injuries appear to have taken some of the shine off the 1's. Hard to tell much about the 2's and 3's though.

LOL, we could tell they looked better than the 1's....hopefully they are "resting" and saving it for when it matters. I am not overly optimistic. Bennet says he going to sit for the National Anthems too. We need more distractions
The reality is that they have never recovered from the SB loss on the last play. Too much friction between the O and D and coaches. They say all the right things in the press but you can sense it when you are at the games.

I like Pete a lot. Had him as a guest coach at a husky football camp when I was a kid. Cool guy. Hope he sticks around for a rebuild, but I doubt he will.

How many non-WR diva's can a team tolerate? Sherm and Bennet are walking distractions. If the team had Belichick's disciplinary program you guys would have a couple more rings by now. The "let the boys be boys" approach hasn't resolved any of the lingering issues.
