IMHO, both watches you're considering are equal to an SD, in terms of function and quality.

Cheers.
Sorry but the LUC caliber is PP/AP/VC/JLC quality.

The 3135 movement is one of the most reliable and best workhorses around but not haute-horlogerie. The LUC caliber is.

x2! I LOVE CHOPARD, especially the LUC Chrono One....its far much more refined than a daytona....and would i would probably take it over a white gold or yellow gold daytona any day, (RG daytona is a grail). I think that they're are enough people that dont give the LUC credit, because they simple dont know about it or have just heard about...without actually looking into the actual movement....and it is a movement the does command alot of respect in many circles.

my opinion may be biased, but I would definitely hold onto the lug-holes SD.

While I like the Chopard, I would keep the SD. I like the 40mm size better and it will hold it's value for a lot longer than almost any other watch.

Easy choice - keep your SD A-series with lug-holes.
