I don't understand why there aren't more people switching brands, there are so many other good watches out there for the same price (or less). |

It’s funny how you seem to exist on this forum for the sole purpose of bashing Rolex and Tudor, and as you put it “burst people’s Rolex bubble”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not sure how I bash Rolex. Lots of brands have horrible resale. Tudor is one of them. Rolex 'value' doesent apply to Tudor. |

I own many Rolex. I also know exactly what the brand is and what it offers vs the others. Keeping it real doesent mean bashing Rolex.

I recently picked up a watch from the AD. He told me that they are getting less than SS models than usual. I looked at the empty case and then gave him a look. He then said he has a few SS models stashed in the vault. He is very aware of flippers because the topic came up a few times. It is my first time buying from the AD so I guess that is why he is questioning me about it. We talked a bit about the recently released models and he said SD, SK are limited as there are customers on the wait list for them. I had to ask about the Daytona but he said there is no chance I can get one. There are essentially reserved for VIPs.

These games Rolex always plays turns me off to the brand big time. They already rule their AD's with a iron fist, now people cant even go buy a mass produced assembly line SS watch without dealing with Rolex garbage.
Honestly, I have owned so many different Rolex sport watches over the years and I find myself so turned off by the name on the dial that I don't want any more. I have my orange hand Explorer II and that is it. 1st time in many years I only had one Rolex around the house. I wound have none if the Explorer II was not the best Rolex sport watch on the market.

Rolex Strategy
Nice thought @ pgrandster,
Strange that as a charitable foundation it appears they didn't jump at the opportunity to publish a Modern Slavery Statement: https://tiscreport.org/company/gb/00142138 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
