This CA police officer, (RET) would tell you that since this occurred on private property and there is no injury or DUI involved, it's not a police matter. I'll keep the peace and I will assist you with the exchange of license and insurance information, but that's about it on this one.

The California Vehicle Code applies to public roadways, not private property. Best of luck to you.

No word from my Insurance company or anything being filed by the other person. I'll let you all know if she does.

I would be happy to settle for the 50/50 at fault and move on.
