Solid 6 hrs average. Hit the sack at midnight. Gear up with the APAP. No alarm. No mid way pit stops. No mid day naps. Seems to work well.

Around 7.5 hrs. I got a Fitbit to start tracking it. It tells you how many minutes to fall asleep, how many times awake, how many times restless, minutes awake/restless, duration of sleep. I was feeling tired all the time, so I wanted some data behind it. Now I'm better about going to bed earlier or catching up on sleep when I'm trending below my target average of 7.5 hours per night. It also senses when you nap (I can get those in on the weekends when the kids nap) and adds the time. Now I just need to start using the Fitbit for exercise tracking!

I sleep a lot by the sun. In the winter 8-9 hours and the summer 7-8 hours.

Usually close to 8 hours weekdays. On weekends when nothing is planned I have no problem with sleeping in at around 10 hours. 5 hours definitely doesn't cut it here.

Usually I try for anywhere between 6 and 7 hours per night, depending.
Sometimes on weekends I'm able to make up for lost time and get 8+.

I tried sleeping every other day for 9-10 hours for a bit in University and that experiment failed horribly.

I now average 5-6 a day.

[QUOTE=droptopman;8173578]4-6 If I am lucky. Wish I could sleep better. Tried about everything to improve my sleep patterns but nothing has helped. Maybe just one of those people who does not need much sleep. Rarely sleep until 4:00AM. Most of the time up by 3....On the positive side, it does allow me to get my workout in before work.

That's an early riser.

Good question. For a while I would religiously get 8hrs a night but come the afternoon I found I was very tired. I then cut back to 4-6hrs a night and I feel more alert in the afternoon but can be a struggle to stay awake in the evenings.

On my day off I won't set an alarm and generally get 8 hours.

With my old job and stress levels, about 4-5 hours/night.

With my new job, 6.5-8 hours/night. Makes a huge difference in quality of life and my mood throughout the day.

Currently getting around 7 hours per night.

For years, when I was single and having fun, I was a 4-5 hour a night person and hardly ever tired. Now, I get 7 and feel VERY well rested!
