nice. I've got a red sub too with a nice vintage dial, well preserved, but with a completely faded lume. If I send it to a RSC will they restore only the lume or exchange my dial?
Anyway I'm curious about the price you paid for a servicing a red sub in a RSC. Can you share this information? |

Nicely done! I guess there ARE times when it makes sense to send it to an RSC, :)
Amazed that they still have red Sub service dials. Thanks so much for sharing!

Would this be a Luminova dial and hands?

This Sub now looks fantastic and is super cool, but I'm not sure about its appeal/value in the world of vintage watch collecting. |

No, they keep all of the old parts. They replace parts on a “trade-in” basis.

That looks really nice. I think I prefer the aged original dial and scratches, but that looks incredible as it is. Rolex did an amazing job for you.
Does having the Rolex service dial hurt the value at all? |

In the vintage world, yes, the service dial hurts the value. But, the service dial is significantly scarcer.
