Congratulations on your new watch. The D-Blue is one of my favorites the way the dial turns from black to blue in different lighting is Awesome.

This piece may not be for everyone but I've gotta say, wow. The dial is stunning and it really feels like a tank (in a good way). I'll post more thoughts after I've worn it daily for a week or so but first impressions are outstanding.

And of course, here are some pics! By the way, my wrist is a flat 6.75". As you can see, a top-down wrist shot is deceiving and almost always makes the watch look bigger vs. a normal side wrist shot.

Big Congrats ! Remember you will not see this baby in the wild too much. Exclusive

Congratulations on your new purchase, you carry the watch well, fits your wrist nicely. Glad to see another D-blue in Colorado!

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME !!!

Looks darn good on ya, you know from a distance you almost cannot pick up the colors and looks like a classic SS and black watch which are among my favorites. The color tones vary depending on distance and light. Its features are unique--what do you think of the slightly domed saphire glass lens ?

The domed crystal is really cool. And as you mentioned, it's only slightly domed and hardly noticeable. One thing I have noticed is the dial is a tad smaller due to the ring lock system; that combined with the domed crystal can make reading the minute induces slightly difficult depending on the lighting. That is such a minor complaint though and other than that it's a home run in my opinion!

I think that the dial is same size as the other 40 mm watches, and the ring lock system takes up the extra 2 mm around for the 44 mm. I am not sure it certainly looks smaller anyway.

In reality, being able to read the minute markers is relatively imaterial.

The advantage of having an analogue display is it's practically easier to quickly approximate the time relative to the 5 minute markers at the very quickest glance.
