That is a beauty. Not to blingy in my opinion. Just right.

Just a beautiful piece. Not blingy. Classy and Classic.

The wife feels differently, calling it "maybe a little blingy."

Thoughts?

My GF said the same - fluted bezel - a little blingy. But I like it and would get it for myself (but decided for ceramic bezel.) So maybe men see it differently.

Tell your wife her diamond jewelry is more blingy and she should stop wearing it. That will put an end to that argument.

If I were to ever buy a PM piece it would be a WG Day-Date. Great watch.

Great watch! I'm all for the understated WG DDs myself. Was looking at the same model as yours and also ended up going black dial but with 36mm/oyster/smooth dial instead...

Understated?

I understand how it might still feel blingy with the bezel and PCL, but I see it as a sporty dress watch and agree it’s more understated than yellow gold. Let’s be honest, most of the sports models have the same look these days except the Explorer 1 and 2. As for me, I like the look and the weight must feel great on the wrist! Congrats on a great pickup!
