Do you shower with your Rolex on?
Best comment. I think Steve should have a pop up message appear to a member trying to post a another “Shower with a Rolex, Looky a Rolex at Costco, Is it safe..., Price increase rumor” etc. thread and say “Really?? Try reading one of the other gazillion threads on this inane topic before you post” |

Are you sure you want to wear your Rolex in shower? The stickers may fall off and that would be disaster, no thank you! That's why I only wear my Seiko turtle PADI in the shower!

Not cool. No need to be disrespectful to the members here. 99% of these guys deserve MAD respect for their knowledge about Rolex and willingness to share it. I, for one, am grateful that these guys take the time to help educate others about Rolex and the lifestyle that goes with it. Some may view it as a hobby, but it is big business and is taken very seriously by many people here. It is not a game, and you should apologize.

Easy way to clean it. I leave a baby toothbrush in there and hit it with some body wash. Comes out sparkling

I used to shower with it on but the soup starts to leave a scummy residue if you don't clean it and wipe it down each time which I was too lazy to do every day.

Amazed how many people do not shower with watch on. The only time watch leaves my wrist is when I have to change date every 2 months or so.
Do any of you own expensive shoes that you do not wear outside? Guess the SD's appeal to me for a reason.

Yes I wont own a watch that isn't waterproof enough to shower with.
Plus it gives the watch that shiny silky feeling! |

I don't think you should be wearing anything when showering, not even watches

Thanks Jim. True enough. Can’t argue. I guess I just felt not saying anything would in some way allow more of these threads to appear...but I’m beginning to think I am very, very wrong about that. And...that topics like this one must indeed be a legitimate fascination - if not, why do so many folks ask nearly the very same thing? Cheers. |

Sorry. You most certainly have every right to ask the question. As mentioned in my response to Jim, this topic must be a common pondering among some folks. No other way to explain the frequency that question arises. No etiquette issues in your original post. Please carry on. Thanks |

Not daily but every couple of weeks for a cleaning with a soft toothbrush to wash away all the grit and grime in the crevices.
