Well thank you all, for taking the time to reply.
I am really torn, i love both, but have a black dial already SD43, and was thinking of the explorer as a daily wearer, and especially the white one in the summer month, when i wear short sleeve and dress with short and t shirt.
it would make a good holiday watch, and does not seem to attract attention.
they are both stunning, and i like the 2 time zones.
i have tried both and still cannot decide...i am also surprised to read that the white dial is easy to read.
cheers, again.

Outside of panda dial chronographs, there are very few white dialed sports watches i like. I went with a black 16570.

I found the black easier to read in most light.

White. I have a number of watches with black dials. I wanted something different. And something white. Proper white. Not off white or cream or light grey.

I think my Polar looks fantastic. And the blue lumes really go nicely with the white dial. I think it's a highly underrated watch. But that's OK. At least I didn't have to wait years or go grey to get this unique example of understated excellence.

Black for 6 digit, white for 5 digit. That was what I decided after a lot of back and forth.

I have a white faced DJ and I wanted a polar, but I had an opportunity to get a black one so I went with it.
I'm happy with it.

Though I don't own an Explorer, I would 100% go for the white. I love the look with the steel bezel. More unique in my opinion when compared to the black.

Sticking with both. If I had to choose only one it would totally be a coin toss. Started with black then had to add the polar. Couldn’t be happier with them.

I have the exact same set-up as well for the same reasons.

Tough decision. Black looks sporty, white looks dressy. Either way you can't lose.
