To each his own. I love the BLNR, yes it one of the few sportmodels you can find at AD's but that's also the case with the 116619, and has probably to do wit the price of a full white gold sportmodel. If I could afford it I would get one. Same for the new ss BLRO, love the jubilee strap also.

And if someone doesn't like it, just don't buy it. I'm sure the majority of members here would rather discuss the watches they like than focus on the ones they don't. I'm a watch enthusiast, not a watch un-enthusist |

How can you be so sure without having seen one in the flesh? I reserve my final judgement for the day I get the call. In real life I expect the bezel to look more red and blue than what we see in some pictures.
The more people agree with you though, the shorter the waiting list. Win-win. |

You need to physically see the watch first I think. Same applies to the people acting like the sky is falling if the watch is over-subscribed for the first year or so and they can't get it.

I quite like it that there are all these objections to the colours.

I tried on a WG BLRO this weekend and found the colors to be much different in person than in the photos. It looks much better in person in my opinion.

Can you PM me and show proof of a thread on the Modern Omega Section where the readers were throwing insults on the New Pepsi? I'm curious. As far as I know, my friends over there were asking when the first batches would arrive, they were eager to get their hands on the new Pepsi GMT. Maybe the insults came from another forum but I certainly doubt your allegations about the folks at the Modern Omega section where I once had 5000 posts+ |

If the latter, I would hope they offer bezel swaps at a reasonable cost for anyone who bought the first generation. |

I think not a single production piece has been seen by anyone? Pre production and prototypes.
I think it is early to judge the fine lines of the eventual product, which has not been seen by anyone.

I don't know if Rolex planned it this way or if it was a happy (?) accident, but the ceramic colors are much closer to the original colors of the Bakelite bezels. I'm more of a fan of the colors on the aluminum bezel inserts ala my 16710, but whatever. Perhaps the OP would be better with a 16700 or 16710.

The colors look "waxy," but perhaps that's just the photos.
I prefer the aluminum bezel and previous dial. |
