I always wore levi STF 501s but just before the turn of the century I started wearing the Levi LVC denim range. The 1933 and the 1937 versions are my favourites. I also like the white oil cloth label 1920 LVC model.

I’ve got a pair for “yard” work type stuff. The only time I wore them this year was shoveling the driveway. I don’t do jeans. Or shorts. Khakis all day, every day. Preferably with a T-shirt.

I do, however, think that a great pair of selvedge jeans should be in every man’s closet for wearing with a nice pair of boots as well as a nice pair of dark washed denim for casual wear. I think alot of people here construe jeans as either skinny, painted on, hipster style or baggy dad jeans. Both styles should be avoided like the plague, especially for us in our 40s and 50s. But a high quality pair of trim (only a couple inches of extra fabric around the thigh) fitting jeans looks really good on everyone, no matter your age.

Me as well. I go through jeans pretty quickly and don't want to spend a lot of money on them. The classic fit seem to fit like my old Levi's used to.

I’m a boot guy. But on weekends I’ll mix it up with a slip on shoe.

Funny how jeans can say a lot about someone. Even more than their watch.
AG is my most frequent, but lovin' my Uniqlo's lately. |

Figured I’d add a picture into this. These are actually considered jeans.
I have about 15 pairs. Mostly in gray. They can wear up or down depending on shirt and shoes. Currently have on slip ones as we are just going for a quick bit. Weekday I’ll be wearing those boots or some similar, and likely a button down. Lately I’m loving the untickit brand. These are a bit baggy as I just list nearly 20lbs and I’m unwilling to buy more. I prefer a bit baggy over a bit tight. Before the weight loss, they were a bit tight. I tend to wear my gray ones to work. They are slightly tighter. But still not tight at all But overall, these are super duper comfy and they feel great on. AG is the brand.

I'm in the camp that doesn't want to spend big bucks on denim. I've been lucky to find multiple pairs of 7 For All Mankind and True Religion marked down to $60 per pair or less at outlet stores. Also recently found several pairs of Buffalo jeans marked down to $13 per.
I work in the high tech industry in the Bay Area. Jeans (darker tones and non-baggy) have replaced khakis as the business casual uniform just about everywhere, and especially after-hours.

I recently discovered Raleigh Denim. Small run productions made in Raleigh, NC. Very well done and made to last. The pair I have is numbered one of 88, and is even signed on the inside by the person who made it. If you appreciate true craftmenship in clothing I would recommend to give them a try.
I also have AG, Zzegna, True Religion, J Brand, Hudson, Fidelity. |

Iron heart. That and a pair of neighborhoods that are about to fall apart any day now I tend to buy one high quality raw denim pair and wear it into the ground.

Same here. My Iron Hearts were EXPENSIVE (~$350), but they will last me 5+ years and you get some great fades out of them.

I used to wear raw denim (APC, Rogue Territory, 3sixteen) they’re well worn but still wearable but as I get older I find them less comfortable so now I rotate between a pair of Levi’s, UNIQLO and a pair of chinos
