Incoming! A graduation present to remember..

I still can’t believe I finally have a rolex of my own. I’ve been a watch nerd since I was a little kid in the 90s when my dad bought a 16610LN in 96. I still have memories of watching the second hand sweep round and round and the blue tritium lume which was so interesting to me. I wore watches like Casio and Victorinox but I’ve really had my eyes set on a rolex since around 2012 when my dad bought his 116618LB. He told me when I graduate, I’ll get a rolex.

I worked so hard for it. I studied my ass off, commuted 5x a week and sometimes stayed home on weekends when all my friends were out having a good time. Today, my dad presented me with my very own submariner. He told me that I’ll have this for a very long time before I hand it down and that I’ll always remember the long and winding journey that brought me to this point. So now I present to you my first rolex! (but certainly not the last lol)
