Looks great! As others stated, you should consider the end links and it will look finished and full of awesomeness.

Admittedly I'm a bit disappointed with the finish of the endlinks (very rough on the brushed surfaces), and the fit is not as nice as Rolex OEM bracelet as there are visible gaps on both ends.
Anyways, I have since moved on and upgraded to the 116519LN. This trial on the 116500 made it an easier decision.

I really need to start looking at the dates of threads that pop up as unread

Love the 116519

Can the 116500 clasp fit on oysterflex band? Is the 116519 and 116500 clasp the same except for the latter being white gold?

It has been something I've wanted to do for a while, especially since I love the 116519LN but find it a bit on the expensive end, and after I sold my Patek 5164 and now have a empty spot for a watch on rubber in my collection.

It was super easy to install and so far the sizing seems to spot on. I think it looks pretty good without the endlinks, but nonetheless I did order a set of the Smarty endlinks last night for the right finishing touch.

The only thing I might do in terms of fit is flip the strap around, such that the clasp is reversed. I'm noticing right now that the watch is heavily tilted towards the 12 o'clock side and reversing the clasp would balance it back out.

I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts!

Yes, the 116500 clasp can fit the OF straps. Also, the Glidelock and BLNR clasp can fit also because the OF has the notches to fit into the links.

You are correct, I believe the only difference between the 116519 and 116500 is the material (WG vs SS).

I’m not a fan on the white dial Daytona but I am now with the OF strap. That thing looks awesome. Love it. Are the straps easy to acquire? How much are they?

In the UK, the retail for 2pcs of Oysterflex are £470 (£235 a side).

I got mine from my AD but I hear that in the USA the AD's are not so forthcoming with selling the strap.

Here's a pic of mine, kindly fitted by my AD. First time he had done this mod and was impressed enough to ask me where the endlinks came from"

Sorry about the smudges on the watch but you get the idea.

I don’t mind it without the end links. I find oysterflex so comfortable. I wish Rolex did some ss with oysterflex as part of normal sales.
