Lovely catch. That's interesting the AD keeping the guarantee card. Not sure it sounds right, like you own the watch, though it may slow down the flip and cash in phenomena.

I thought of changing my 16600 SD for a Sub C a few times but never made the leap.
All we need now is a wrist shot :) Congratulations!

Its been a funny day, many of my friends and family have known I was getting it for a while but when they actually see it in person they are pretty much bowled over. Obviously not my partner who is still in a state of shock, she will just have to get over it. If its her or the watch, ill probably miss her.

Congrats! I had a really hard time getting on in stock in my region as well. I called and left my name at 6 different AD's within 100 miles, and I was lucky enough to get one within a month. Cheers!

Yeah right. I think I’ll send her that statement now and watch you get seriously hurt. lol
Congratulations on the sub. I know you wanted it for a while and you deserve it in every way. Wear it in good health.

Congratulations. I also bought my mine (and first Rolex) earlier in the year and still love it.

18 month wait though! I guess I was 'fortunate' to get mine the following month of my visit to the AD.
