The Great Mojave Desert.

Just a hermit who is happy to be lost in the desert with a Rolex and a bottle of Red Breast.

That’s easy ............ Hamilton Montana area, near the Bitterroot river ! Half way between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, some of the worlds best fly fishing, excellent motorcycle riding, all four seasons but not too hot, college town of Missoula for some occasional culture, etc., .......................... simple living at its best !

Think of it every day, don’t know if I can wait until retirement or not !

If you get to Alexander Valley I'd recommend stopping by Silver Oak Winery.

Money no object, Paris. If I could maintain my current pay cost of living and actually have to worry about money, then Spain. Probably Barcelona, Valencia or Malaga.

San Diego to me is the most prefect place I have ever lived in. Someday I may go back and set up camp again.

Dublin, Ireland for me. Home is where the heart is as they say.
I've lived all over the world and have loved and enjoyed every place I have lived but I miss Ireland a lot. It's the only place I've really missed when living somewhere else.

The AV Silver Oak winery has now moved to Healdsburg. We are friends with the Duncan family, and they trade us Cab for Pinot Noir from our winery. Definitely worth a visit!

I'm in the southeast Netherlands, but I'd definitely consider moving to an old wooden home just over the border in the Ardennes forest, definitely an achievable goal within a few years.
Don't care for cities, I need to be close to nature to feel at home.

Just got back from USA for a visit. Funny how I wished I was living there. Currently living in New Zealand. Good country to raise a family, winters aren't so bad, summer is gorgeous if the sun is shining which is about five times a year, generally safe enough, little or none existent geo-political relevance to warrant terrorist attacks. Excellent.

The only thing a WIS will complain about NZ is that you have more luck sighting a couple of fornicating unicorns than getting a SS Rolex.

But this is God zone, nice beer, good food, expensive houses modest houses, fresh air in most parts, never far away from beaches- ahh heaven if only my AD can get me my 126710 hahaha.

I love the PNW and could honestly see myself living there, too. Vancouver is an amazing city in an amazing location.
These are fantastic areas I love the central California coast and spent a lot of time traveling there for my work over the years. I could easily see living in San Luis Obispo

Vacation house in Hawaii. 2nd vacation house on Lake Tulloch, CA (because it has 52 miles of shoreline of which a major portion has homes right on the water, and the residence in a Coastal Comminity that I haven’t figured out yet...

Lots of nice places listed, but I’m sticking with Hanalei, Kauai County, Hawaii, USA.

I love raising my kids in North Florida but we will eventually get back to Coronado Ca. We kept our house there and will more than likely retire there or Lake Tahoe.

I'd like to have holiday homes in various places but I'd never want to live anywhere else other than the UK and around London, but like most Brits I'd say I'd prefer the weather to be different... just a little colder.
