Take that as you will.
I get where you are coming from. I have been the same. The gmt is the Only one that is sticking. It’s a great watch, and I don’t believe it’s a compromise. I’ve owned the exp2 and that’s great too. But the price point for what you get makes the Tudor quite remarkable.

Assuming you have the bucks, there isn’t a wrong choice here in my eyes.

The best part about this is there is no wrong choice! Im in the market for a GMT as well, and while I wont be waiting 2-4 years for the BLRO, I think the Tudor GMT is beautiful and a lot of watch for the money. I love that it maintains that "tool" vibe, and I love the coloring. You also cant go wrong with the EXP II, and if you look at some 5 series you can probably get a black dial for around 5k which is a huge bargain when you think about the function compared to other SS models.

Don't the "nothing compares to Rolex" people deter you from getting the Tudor if you will enjoy it. The movement you get in the Tudor for half the price of the Rolex is hard to pass up honestly. Both great watches, try them on and buy what speaks to you.

I had the EXP2 and it's a fine watch. It ended up leaving because I missed not having a rotating bezel, and I like to use a bezel for various things. The Tudor GMT is now on my wrist and I couldn't be happier.
