None of the above.
But the Breguet possibly comes the closest to being a "dress watch" out of the options, although i would consider it a little too tizzie.
IMO, a dress watch ought to have a certain elegance and simplicity with also being underderstated.
There's probably just a little too much going on with the Breguet.
The Rolex watches can't help but scream ROLEX.

Given the choice myself I'd probably pick none of the above and go pick up a Lange Saxonia Thin.

Otherwise the Breguet is really the only dress watch you've listed. Not that anyone outside a watch forum is likely to notice or care, FWIW.

None of what you listed is a dress watch let alone a classic one. So if you want a dress watch the only Rolex option is a Cellini. I would look at a watch house that has a better line of dress watches like Patek or Journe.

The ultimate classic dress watch is a Patek Phillipe Calatrava. Bar none. Dress watches traditionally are simple dial, often time only and on crocodile straps.

Of those shown it would be the Breguet. I am not a fan of the brand personally but hard to argue.

The Royal Oak is NOT a dress watch. It is a sport watch.

The Day Date, which I wear, can most readily serve double duty as a dress watch and day to day.

Regarding your specific question, Breguet.

Allow me to clarify. Breguet is a great brand. It is owned by Swatch and is considered their premier brand. I am not a fan of the engine turned dial aesthetically although this style dial was designed by Abraham Louis Breguet away back in the late 1700s. Pretty good provenance. Negotiate the hell out of the Breguet. They do not retain their value like a Rolex.

My 2 cents.

Go for the DD and flip the DJ. Too similar in same collection.

DD is great, but your post asks for a 'classic' dress watch - the Breguet is the only option based on this criteria.

The 15400ST is a sports watch. If you want a dressier size, I'd recommend the 15202 but there's the obvious price difference.

But to answer the question from the listed options, I'd definitely flip the DJ41 for a DD. 40 is a sportier size, 36 would be perfect for a dress watch but you can't go wrong either way.

I'm considering a dress watch as well, and the Cellini Moonphase is currently at the top of my list, followed by a rose gold Calatrava with a rail dial.

I don't consider the Day-Date or Datejust to be true dress watches, but I know a lot of people do.

The closest one there to a dress watch. Those Rolex watches are not even close to being dress watches. Or the AP.

In this day and age, I think anywatch is fine. All the lines between dress and casual are being blurred. It depends on who your audience is...

I mean if it feels dressy, it probably is

No actually a dress watch is a dress watch and none of those are options and there is nothing blurry about that.

A dressier professional model doesn't equate to a dress model. Again Rolex makes only series that are dress models and that is Cellini as I stated in my first post.

The wearer might feel dressy but weather they look dressy is another story. There are folks who think a suit with out a tie and wearing tennis shoes is dressed up. But they aren't.

Keep what you have and add the AP or Breguet.

For me, AP > Breguet.

DD YG too shiny to use it with a suit.
