1st choice:
Sport Blancpain
Dress JLC

2nd choice:
Sport IWC or Grand Seiko
Dress GO

PS. Rolex wouldn't make the grade even if they were allowed.

Interesting in all the replies breitling has only been mentioned twice...
Have to say seems a lot share the feeling breitling isn't a consideration. Breitling wouldn't be in my top 10... omega on the other hand I'm a massive fan. Also as a lower end option a oris moonphase complication as a dress watch

Dress : JLC tribute reverso. Pink gold. The ultimate dress watch, not even Patek have made anything superior.

Sports : VC overseas. Blue dial. Awesome bracelet. Ticks all boxes...apart from holding value like Patek/Rolex

Omega- had a great experience with the sea master. So I’d get a PO.

JLC- the mut moon phase and perpetual calendars in rose gold are perfect.

JLC, AP, Glashutte Original, Lange, FPJ, Nomos, GS, the list goes on and on and on. Btw, now it is a great time to be into "other" watches.

Rolex is awesome...they make some great watches and are rightfully on anyone’s list to own. But I’m finding that other watch brands make fantastic watches and are incredibly fun to own. Just in my journey with watches, I’ve gone from only Rolex to now owning only one! Now my collection runs the gamut, and I couldn’t be happier. Looking at my watches in the morning is fun and I get to choose depending on my mood. Should I go for the Grand Seiko Chrono? Or the GP laureato? ...maybe my beater Zodiac sea wolf or my Pam 609? Etc... I fault no one who only wears Rolex because they are incredible watches, but For me, when I looked out into the world of horology past Rolex, it made it so much more fun.

Dress: ALS (I have a Lange 1 Moonphase), VC (the Patrimony and Historique are astonishing), surprisingly Seiko (I tried on an Eichi II in Tokyo and was thoroughly impressed), FPJ (don't rate them in photos but went to their boutique in Aoyama, Tokyo and in person they are gorgeous).

Sport: AP (who doesn't love a RO?), VC (I think the Overseas is massively under-appreciated), Omega (SMP forever) and Seiko (really, who needs anything more than a Turtle?)
