Because he didn't pay state sales tax. I've done this too. For me that saves 8.25%.

The Silver dial, Fluted, Jubliee DJ is a classic. I had a silver dial DJ for many years, but as my eyes got older I couldn't read the time without my glasses. Oh well... Blue dial for me next time.

The amazing thing to me is that it only took you 90 minutes to make your choice. I'm still thinking 'Jubilee or Oyster' over a year later.

To my eyes the fluted bezel with Oyster bracelet did not look right. I think is is due to the 21mm lug width and the case being 39.5 or there about. The DJ41 in that combination did not look proportional to me. However, fluted/jubilee or domed/oyster combination looked the best.

I may pickup the rhodium with domed/oyster later this year if my BLNR does not show up by then. I miss my Explorer 39mm mk1 and DJ41 will great to fill that void. Plus, I will have data function which I often missed on the Explorer I.

That’s the one I would have gone with. Nice legendary look.

I thought you'd choose the smooth rhodium but i'm glad you chose the classic look
