I recently met another who has a unique Optimum, 1 of 1 I guess you could say, with a mother of pearl dial that the boutique made for him... and it was gorgeous!

Thanks. Agreed the steel is a nice variant and in theory a lower price would be associated but as with many desirable pieces, steel is often associated with exclusivity and a higher price.

It was a rare opportunity to capture this steel resonance. to date I have only seen 3 offered as a stand alone piece from the set of 5.

I tried on a very early tourbillon and was quite shocked at how I was mesmerized by the movement on the dial.
