I have other black/white watches to wear on working weekdays. It’s good rotation piece for weekend or holiday. Maybe a little too much to handle if it’s the only watch and wear it daily..

Never! You will never grow tired of looking at that green dial. As others have said it is a dynamic sunburst dial and takes on amazing colors depending on light, including an almost black/green appearance. And as you said, you have a black dialed diver in case you want to wear one.

Good luck!

The dial of the Hulk is great. The bezel, not so much. In direct sunlight I did not like faded green color of the bezel. I moved mine on after two weeks and had no regrets selling it.

Hulk owners - did you get tired of the color green?

It’s to much, can’t wait to sell it when this price goes up

I never tired of the color. I bought it and was my daily for 1.5 years but TBH, always wished/wanted it to be slightly bigger. If Rolex came out with one in a true 42/43mm, I would happily be all over it. My 2 pence.

You're among a few comments I've seen mention this, and I'm agreeing based on photos alone (never seen one in person). The dial is vibrant, whereas the bezel looks.. cheap? flat/lifeless?

In some lighting conditions it can look little flat.

Now though, for a technical question, since none of the local A.Ds have a Hulk in stock, how do I see it before buying? Do I put my name on the list, wait for a call and then decide? Or are there other options?
If you are anywhere near NY, you can head over to 47th Street; they should be available from at least one grey market dealer there. Otherwise, look for a brick-and-mortar grey market dealer near your location.

No, not tired of it at all. That said, it is not my only watch.

Depending on what a person does for a living, recreational lifestyle, and long term goals with watch collecting, the 116610LV could be the perfect fit or far from it as a daily driver.

Don’t get tired at all and I wear it without everything. Some people may argue it’s hard to fit into a ensemble. But I think it’s an added pop of color if it does not match exactly. The green as so much character, it is one of my favorites

Get tired of co-worker's hulk bezel, so never have second thought to own it.

Love the dial though.

If you need to buy a Hulk, be patient. There’s a lot of these in the grey market, especially in Asia and the guys are asking $4-5k above retail. I’m not seeing very strong demand like it used to, some dealers are reducing prices by a bit. Chinese economy may take a beating in next year, so hold your Rolex purchase.

I would feel the same way if it were for everyday. If worn in a rotation or collection, I think it works. As an only watch, I feel that the green would be a bit much

I feel the opposite. I like the color of the bezel more than the dial. Not crazy about the sunburst look on a dial, but love the green so I am happy.

For me it’s a problem, I have many colours of watches and get bored with them after a while, I still love them and revert back to them but long term I never get bored of a black sub, any model.

Thanks!
No one who has a Hulk would admit he has a watch that tires him because of the green colour. This is the truth. To admit an error is in general a difficult task.

If you re tired of That Green, you are tired of Rolex. So, maybe go with a Black Bezel Sub or Red or Blue GMT II. Plenty of Great watches out there. For me, it's a Rolex. 50 years and still not tired of even my Green Box !

Most people will say no, but I actually did. And Green is my favourite colour!

I realise I maybe in the minority here, but I cannot stand the green. The dial is OK, but that bezel looks a bit cheapish to me.

Just not a fan of multi coloured bezels: same goes for the Batman, I don't get all the fuss over the Blue/Black hysteria.

Had mine six months now. Its replaced my SD43 as my favorite "goto" daily wearer. My BLNR just sits on my Orbita waiting for a business trip. Absolutely love the green and all it's "character" in the many lighting situations throughout the day.

Honestly, I thought the honeymoon phase would wear off but hasn't. FWIW, I'm a convert. I hated it when it first came out. Balked at it several times while shopping AD's over the years. Started thinking about it last year this time, and put my name down in Feb. of 2018, and it arrived late May.

Hoping to get a BLRO soon. We'll see if the LV holds it's own after that.
