I have both the new seamaster and a 16610.

I like the seamaster better in terms of looks, ceramic bezel and dial, bigger, better lume, movement etc.

I still will keep the 16610 since I like it too.

If I were the OP id buy what I want so in his case it seems to be the sub. Then when you have the sub maybe a SMP after?
