Overpriced shwag, crappy used pieces on yucky straps, all dead men watches. Slick marketing though to hide the mess out back and the overworked watchmaker.
Thumbs down from me.

Looking over T/H website I can see why some would call them 'old schwag' or tired looking pieces. But at the end of the day from one entrepreneur to another good for him for finding a passion and making it work for him.

Probably estate watches would be my guess. OR ones he bought off family members the watch previously belonged too.

Except he's charging absurd prices for these pieces. If he was truly passionate he wouldn't be trying to rip people off.

Mark 40s are mid to low 3k watches. His is listed at $4115

These Dynamics are ~$900. This one is listed at $1625

And this one has a messed up dial, sorry I mean "patina throughout," and is listed at $1415.

$1885 for this one

You can basically do this for every single thing posted up there.

The video does not work for me, but maybe I am too old. I stopped watching after a few mins. They will probably be very successful. Best of luck to them.

I don't disagree with what you're saying...just refrained from publically stating it. But yes, his models are essentially 'low hanging' inexpensive to obtain fruit. There may be some gems here/there but I didn't notice any vintage Subs, Daytona's GMT's etc...His pieces are vintage (old) sure, but that's seemingly about it.

It’s not you.

Social media ‘influences’ weak young people.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not old, but there are too many followers/wannabes in the world.

No one seems to be able to build their own identity.

I lasted about 20 seconds into the video before turning it off. Loud, too much post on it. I prefer the watchuwant folks.

That's funny!

This Theo and Harris video is clever marketing. It's presented as an informational piece to educate newbie watch buyers, but does a great job of promoting the watches they carry. They know their target audience.

I met with him for lunch about a year ago and he was a great guy to chat with. No arrogance at all. He genuinely loves watches and really enjoys talking about them.

Well..doesn't appear their specific collection has a shortage....but that is somewhat odd the current market conditions didn't enter into the conversation.

Really they set-up prejudices and are way too cutsie for me. I actually listened to the entire bit. They had some good points and some that caused my angst.
