I think I’ve owned about six 16600s over the years and at least four 16610LVs. The only thing I ever regret is letting them go in the first place.

Are any still in the collection or have you parted ways for good?

It’s one watch that’ll never leave my collection from now on. It’s too perfect

I'm pretty sure I've bought and sold 5 Speedmasters. I have a tritium dial Speedy now, and whenever I get the itch to sell it, I remind myself that it won't be all that easy to replace given its condition. Also, I'm currently on my third Black Bay Red. I've sold a few that I regret letting go, especially given where prices have gone.

Traded in and then re-acquired a 42mm Exp2 Polar in a span of 18months. Not the most popular SS prof watch, I know (and I still get some flack from my buddy about it being the “dog” of the SS prof lineup) but for some reason, I just fall in love everytime I see one. Hopefully this one stays in the collection for a long, long time

Nearly, well sort of.

My wife bought me a DJ2 - 16300. Owned if for three years and always thought it was too large - for my taste anyway.

I sold it and bought a DJ41 - 126300, exactly same configuration.

Just not sure if I like it at the size it is and I often wonder if I should have bought the DJ36.

If I do, and it will be in the same configuration again, I’ll have bought the same watch three times!

I have not but I think I might in the near future. I traded my perfect condition Hulk and 126660 D-Blue to fund my grail 116613LN. I haven't looked back at the D-Blue but the Hulk has remained on my mind ever since the trade.

I bought the same watch 7 or 8 times. Different dials so doesn't make me crazy, right?

Reading this thread makes me feel better about some of my poor choices. Not that they weren't poor choices, but that I'm not the only one.

I'm now on my second BLNR. I have asked my AD to find me another 114060, and that one I will also keep.

I just traded a 16610LV, so I still have three 16610LVs. Unfortunately I have traded a couple 16600s and sold at least one. I still have two left in the collection.

The only Rolex I have sold/traded that I HAVEN’T regretted is a DSSD. It is one of the few that I took a pretty high loss on. I still don’t regret or miss it.

I would stick with DJ41 over the 36! Personally. Unless you have a really small wrist.

I admit I have and it's on my wrist as I type! :). When you consider selling a piece because it's not "getting wrist time," give it some time.

I bought a 16570. Traded it away a few years ago, and recently repurchased it.
