Fantastic thread. Tons of useful info. Sourcing the endlinks appears to be the hard task. Will try with the local AD first.

Bumping this thread after almost a year.

Any updates guys if you were able to get the Jubilee (era correct) from your RSC for your 16710?

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread. It helped me determine exactly what I needed for my no holes 16710: 62510H “50” with 502T end links. It also helped me locate the exact jubilee for sale from trusted seller Springer; mint, at a good price, and overnighted. What a great forum this is! I’ve decided to become a pledge member. Great post! Enjoy your "new" watch! I switched my 16710 to the jubilee this summer and I think it'll be permanent. My AD was able to figure out.

Followed original DIY mod for the standard 62510H… only got frustrated with slow going hand filing the endlinks. Rolex makes some strong steel. Ended up using a dremel with a similar diamond file bit. Still took me a good while to get to 2.0mm… I do love the classic jubilee on my 16710 though. So comfortable. All in for the used bracelet with endlinks was about $525. Previous owner of the bracelet had fitted it using thinner datejust springbars. I tried this just to see how it looked. Fit tight with no rattling but I’d worry about the thin springbars wearing into case holes over time… This is a good economical solution. Thanks!

Seen this on eBay, seller is selling a 62510h bracelet with 555 endlinks and 502t endlinks.

The last link is not marked 50 - will it fit a 16710 if used with the 502t endlinks?

Cheers

Continuing the revival of an old thread: Found a non-GMT 62510H Jubilee on my vintage GMT, which is how the GMT was purchased. Like many vintage GMT's, mine likely came from the factory on an Oyster bracelet and somewhere along the way had its bracelet swapped out for a Jubilee -- unfortunately a 62510H Jubilee designed for the "Datejust", not the GMT (as seemed and still seems to be a common, cost-saving practice). I wanted the real deal, not a mis-matched Jubilee, which meant the seemingly impossible task of finding a proper, period-correct, 62510H/50/550. (Yes, the 550's are the endlinks specifically designed for the "50" bracelet for 5-digit GMT's of the 1980's). Having paid a King's ransom for the watch itself with its all-original condition (except for bracelet) and its stunning patinaed dial/hands, spending a few thousand more for the "proper" GMT Jublilee, while admittedly a bit pocket-book painful, was ultimately a no-brainer. For some, it might mean saving up over a bit of time to do so, while patiently waiting for a period-correct one to arise, but worth it in my view. The "proper" 62510H adds significant value to the piece if ever resold, but the real value to me, with no resale in mind, is the pleasure derived from wearing a true, factory-specified, vintage watch/period-correct bracelet combination (right down to the bracelet date code matching the GMT's year of production by serial). Bottom line: While appreciating the spirit of the OP's post in seeking to help others who either cannot afford a "proper" Jubilee for their 5-digit GMT, or simply prefer not to spend the additional money, I, for one, admittedly a purist, would not be jimmy-rigging (or 'modifying') the link-loops by drilling or filing out .2mm worth of metal to increase the diameter in order to accommodate a 2mm (vs 1.8mm) springbar. It may work, and the outward aesthetic of the bracelet may be indistinguishable from the "proper" GMT Jubilee; but at the end of the day it still is, and always will be, a modified "Datejust" bracelet not originally designed by Rolex for its 5-digit GMT-Master.

As you’ve concluded the thread isn’t for purists nor those with deep pockets. Instead, it serves those looking for an easy and low cost solution to the period correct GMT jubilee.

Has anyone had success with getting a 62510H 50/502 end link bracelet from RSC in recent times? Is there an idea of current MSRP?

Thought I'd post an update to this awesome thread. I just spoke with my AD here in Denver. They have no problem ordering a jubilee bracelet for my 16710 (P serial) for $1,150 plus tax. No trade in of my oyster bracelet. Cheers!

This was my experience when I purchased a jubilee for my 16710 from my AD last year.
