Cars are disgustingly expensive here in Thailand. A BMW M5 here in Thailand retails at $417,000 (that's not a typo) with the entry level model coming in at $110,000. Usually the cars come with a decent spec, I guess to justify the price in some way. I'm looking at picking up a 2019 X3 this year if I can for my wife. Does anybody have any experience with one?

Sold it. After I bought my LX, I wasn’t driving it too much. I figured I could flip it for a small profit since I bought it for a very good price, but I’d be lying if I told you that I don’t think about that car every day. It was a joy to drive and the S85 is the best motor ever offered in a non-exotic car (even better than some motors found on exotics, imo).
I’ve been casually looking into buying another... |

I took delivery of my second P-Car, a 2019 Carrera T. I fell in love with the model when I saw the release event and finally saved up and got an allocation. This is an absolute joy to drive and I am so glad it has a manual. Although not one of the higher end models, I think it is the perfect car for what I need.

Nsx
Not a 2019 but just picked up the Acura NSX, it was a deal too good to pass up on.
Not necessarily a Huracan or 570s level but the daily drivability, zero turbo lag, hybrid setup, reliability and performance was a no brainer for me. Another plus is the rarity of it where I live as there's lots of Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren and Porsches on the streets. |

My 535 is not proving to be good with the kids. Guess I’ll finally cave and get an SUV this year. Nothing as exotic as what most of you folks are getting.

I know what you mean, I’ve had the last three iterations of the M5. I left BMW for three years and picked up an AMG E63s Wagon. WHile it was a really sweet car, with an incredible motor I missed my M the entire time. Here”s my wagon that I just got rid of. IMG_4627.jpg |

I do really like to drive the new Genesis G70. It’s fast, 4WD nice looking sport sedan with comfortable interior
All new BMW’s look incredibly ugly

Just bought the wife a new Q7- she really likes it so far but I think part of that is the manageability compared to her suburban. The 3.0 has decent power- drove the 2.0 and i felt like you really had to get deep in the pedal to get it to move.

Oh man. I cannot wait to see it! It sucked waiting for mine but definitely worth it. Do you have a Porsche code for your build?

I’m sure it’ll be worth it. But time has never passed so slowly. Then again, it’ll be perfect timing for spring driving.

Pkvj3us2 Built with the help of fastmd and 1stamg I’m super excited about it. All the performance bits with a little bit of pizazz. Let me know what you think. Edit to add, I still kind of wish I went silver. Huge silver car fan. And yours looks fantastic.

Seth, that is an outstanding build. Major points for the 7 speed manual, and rear axle steering. I have it in the T and it is definitely a great feature on mountain roads, or high speed avoidance on highways. Great touch with the yellow seatbelts to complement the PCCBs and chrono clock. I am excited to “see” it in person. Please be sure to post pictures!!

That color will definitely need to get XPEL and/or ceramic coating to avoid swirling. |

Agree. I’ve already signed up for the dealer to do the entire front end. Ironically, I reached out just today to get a cost on doing the entire car. It’ll be fully wrapped before I even drive it off the lot.

Bought the wife a ‘19 Infiniti QX 80. The thing is huge, but she loves it. I figured I saved at least $70K, since she originally wanted the new G wagon.

I love these things. I think they look great. And the inside is fantastic. I almost pulled the trigger a few times. Huge fan. Congrats on the awesome pick up. Enjoy it.

I’ve been on the full size SUV kick too. Feel so comfortable and secure driving them. Hard to beat after a few years of climbing in and out of euro coupes and sedans.
