YG Day Date . . . because I think it's THE perfect example of a classic gold Rolex.

Didn’t mean to exclude RG. My bad.

I'm more of a WG guy and already have a Smurf and WG DD2. Next for me would be a WG YM2 because it's rarely seen or the WG SkyD with Black Dial.

If you were going to add a Gold Rolex(YG or WG), what would it be and why?

Day date 40 in YG! It's an iconic piece... New movement, updated bracelet with ceramic sleeves, modern proportions. I did pull the trigger and now waiting for my order to come in as the AD didn't have it in stock.

Was between a WG Smurf and this. Got this and have zero regrets!! Perhaps I’ll add a WG Smurf in the future.

In order without much separation:

1. RG CHNR
2. YG GMT green dial
3. WG Daytona on oysterflex
4. SMURF

I made the decision to add a 116718 a little over a year ago. I always loved this piece since it first came out. I knew I wanted my first PM Rolex to be YG. It also helped that the 116718 seemed to be the lowest priced of all the PM sport models. Win win
