A few years ago I accidentally bonked my wife in the head with my DeepSea while we were sleeping. Now no watches when sleeping is the rule.

Not sure why. But I take it off in the weekends and also when doing timing runs, since my watch gains around half a second when laying flat, with dial side up.

Nice! Thanks for your replies

Seems like there's a bunch of you that sleep with your watch on your wrist, which is likely the path I'm heading....

P.S glad I was able to provide some sort of amusement for your Saturday morning read

No. I used to leave it on in hotels during my business travels but no longer do that either. I don’t need to check the time while I’m sleeping.

Sleeping is the most gentle thing I do with a watch. I like to put them on and keep them on

I sleep with mine. Sometimes I make make love to it but I need to adjust the bracelet so it can fit my privates, and that means taking a few links off since my dick is not that thick, but after all adjustments I would say is a great experience.

I don't. Just not comfortable. Unless I'm traveling and then it never leaves the wrist.

I shower with all of them on, but the only one I ever slept with is the Explorer. It's so (relatively) small and light at 39mm, that it was great to sleep with. Explorer II not so much.

I have a confession to make - never before have slept with a watch on, but as I was very inspired by this thread, decided to give it a try last night and it was great

I would never sleep with it on unless on a plane or something like that.
