Be strong JJ! Ronan is lucky to have such a loving family, including all his TRF uncles and aunts. All will be well.

Guys, I just sat and read out all the messages in this thread to my daughter, Jasmine, who simply burst out into tears.

She's very touched by all your good wishes and asked me how total strangers could be so understanding and sympathetic to her cause.

Well, I told her that the people on TRF are by far the best human beings in the world and can show more love and feelings than anyone we actually know.

She has sent her heartfelt thanks and appreciation for all your good wishes and kind sentiments.

Best to all......and a great BIG thank you.

JJ

JJ, It saddens me to hear this. My prayers to Ronan, you, and your family. I, too, have a grandaughter with health problems, and it breaks your heart when you are helpless.
God Bless.

Tell Jasmine that if I could I would donate my gut to young Ronan to ensure his health.

Unfortunately Claire just got excited when she overheard I might be losing my gut and asked why I can't donate it or at least lose it down the local gym!!!!!!!!!

Bah!!!!!!

Keep smiling, tell Jasmine that our thoughts and prayers are with her and her gorgeous little boy!!!!!!

Jim, Claire and Willy woo!

For days, I've been trying to think of an appropriate post for this thread, but I haven't come up with anything.

JJ, if you will accept the good wishes a stranger far away, I wish you the best. I am saddened by your grandson's illness and suffering, and I hope things improve quickly.

Hi JJ,

Sorry to hear that Ronan has had this setback. I'm sure that the doctors will overcome this and get him back on the right path.

Love to all.

I'll give you a call tonight.

Eddie.

Heck, that's the least I can do JJ. You are all the best friends that I have right now (sad, that I hang out more with TRF then "real, live, and in person" friends, but to me, you guys are more then just the typical every-day friends. We all have so much in common, that it hurts to see someone like poor Ronan suffer. I wish Ronan, and Jasmine, and everyone in your family the best. I wish we could be neighbors, but we are many thousands of miles away. Yet, it seems like your right next door :)
I will keep your family in my prayers.

Mike

Grandson Ronan is still in bad shape, very bad shape.

He's been having a serious "bloody" bout of the runs and we just can't stop it. Doctors say that with his Ulcerative Colitis, this can be expected in spurts, but the serious problem is his massive weight loss - over 13 pounds in the last few months.

He also gets very tired and is unable to keep up with any of the games at school with the rest of the team.

This is serious, guys......very serious. When and how will this nightmare end?

And, trust me, you don't even want to know the mental disposition of my poor daughter, Jasmine (Ronan's mother, of course)!!

JJ
I'm so sorry JJ! Ronan and the rest of the family are in our thoughts!

Everything will be okay! Keep believing!

We're all here for you. He has worldwide support!
