I've got both and I'd say 'no' if you were to go ahead with the black dial non GV. However, a definite 'yes' if it were either one of the 2 GV options :)

Nice watch, but less desirable than GV or Z-blue

If I was ever to move it on in the future I'm not sure it would be very sought after? I'm not a flipper but I get bored after a few years.

Is it seen as a downgrade from the gv green model? (I like it but a tad too colorful for me)
I actually prefer this dial/arrangement to to the GV Green model, and wouldn’t call it a downgrade. I had the Z Blue but moved it on.

I like my GV as it doesn’t scream ROLEX.

Nice big crown, dial symmetry, no cyclops, smooth bezel, and the green crystal on the GV.

I really enjoy wearing it.

Pros - it’s a quirky Rolex with a cool orange hand. Symmetrical dial.

Cons - too similar to your Ex1? Not as desirable as the GV.

[QUOTE=FreshPrince14;9642494]

I made a decision a while back to only buy things I really love... Be it cars, watches, clothes. To not just buy a car because I can get it cheap, or a piece of clothing just because it's on sale. No point in buying it unless you really love it.

This. So much more rewarding and satisfying this way.

It is a big thick chunky watch. If you like that it is great. I have a new Air King and love the style but do not like the chunkyness of it compared to the 39mm Exp and my Daytona. That matte dial is great though. Remember, it seems the unloved models are the ones that become cult classics years later.

Very nice, but similar to Exp. You need a dive watch!

I would say no. Get something you do not have to ask about, you know on the spot.

If you’re not over the moon in love I would say no. To me it’s the most boring of the Milgauss iterations so I wouldn’t even consider it.

The fact that you're asking a bunch of strangers if you should go for it means you probably shouldn't.

I like it. But, more importantly, do you like it?

The one rule in watch collecting, I think, is to make yourself happy. If you ask us what we think, we're not the ones who will be wearing it.

I'm not against polishing at all, but that bezel and the lugs are soft, I wouldn't buy it personally.

I'm not a fan of the model, but that is just my personal preference/aesthetics. Given you have the explorer I would find this even more of a no go.

Too similar to the EX. If it were the White face I'd be more inclined. To 99% it's the same as the one you already have. Pass.

Unless the price was an absolute steal I'd pass. The only iteration that I've seen that I actually liked was the GV but even then I wouldn't personally buy it. And if you think you'll get bored or sell down the road why get into a model that's a harder sell? My .02

It's a beautiful piece, love the orange markers. I had one but the Zblue kept calling me so I traded mine.

Honest opinions guys please

Gotta be a man. Women hates indecisive men . The wishy washy won’t survive in this world. Lol.

It is a subjective question. You have 100 people with some bad and some good taste in watch. No point in listening to them because they’ll confuse you even more. Don’t even listen to me. Just buy it and enjoy life.

Depending on the wrist size as well. For small explorer is much better option.
