Correct, there is no glide lock on the SS. Not a problem for me as the glide lock clasp is quite long and that wouldn’t fit with the YachtMasters character

No, its the shorter flip-lock type, no glide lock on the SS YachtMaster

Got The call yesterday!! Very impressed with the 126622. Comfortable and perfect weight for me. I’ll try to figure out how to post photos sorry for being a noob 😂 There’s no glide lock but there’s a quick extension link.

Oh okay. So SS didn’t get the glidelock. I’m hoping the clasp on the oysterflex is a bit smaller than the Sub

I can’t see why it’s not a diver and doesn’t need that level of extension to fit over your suit.

It would also not work aesthetically because the YM is an elegant variant and not meant to be an all out tool watch like the Sub.

When I saw people holding out for that feature I was a bit baffled.

I can take more photos later. Such a pain to use an iPhone and try to upload it here. Have to resize and change the pixels on it. But to know that it’s a 126622. At the 6 o’clock mark, you’ll see that there’s a crown in between the swissmade. photo I took when I picked it up from the dealer yesterday sorry for the horrible shot

Get Tapatalk and pay VIP. Much easier and you’ll see great pic results on TRF. Congrats on this beautiful watch.

Why would you recommend that?

You can easily use the regular browser on your phone or computer, use the attachment or use a website like imgur.com to upload pictures and paste the image to the forum.

Not a dive master but I dive not sure if it’s true or not I hear people say “don’t dive with shiny objects it could attract predators” so idk how true that is. I don’t know if you’ve seen YM’s are quite shiny. And that’s why subs have a “dull” or matte type of finish

Thanks guys!!! I will try to upload more photos later!... yeah I actually waitlisted for a 116622 about 2 months ago but ended up getting an unexpected call from my friend's AD yesterday. So I ended up driving 3 hours soon as I got the call! Also, I wasn't expecting a 126622 so the SA gave me more information about a watch! definitely worth driving 6 hours! and i don't think there's a price bump from 116622 to 126622

Well worth the trip I think the price was up about £150 in the UK but don’t quote me on that.

It depends on what you prefer, user experience and what you expect in photo quality. Tapatalk is as easy as pie. It does require VIP now for hi-res but it’s pennies to the dollar. A no brainer IMO.

Can somebody pretty please do a 116622 side by side with a 126622. Side on and front view including lugs. Then I can work out if its still the same swiftly rounded breast of a watch for me.

What’s stopping you??

The YM is an unfounded masterpiece IMHO.

Hahaha this forum is so bad for enabling. I agree it's a masterpiece with that soft platinum color bezel.

You know new reference or not it’s splitting hairs because the latest two variants are just stunning regardless of combination. That platinum bezel, that matte part is just gorgeous and plays with light like nothing else on the market.

+2 for side by side...

This was the watch i really wanted but broke and got the DJ36 with the same movement. In the end I don't regret it but not sure what I'll do if my AD calls saying they have the 126622 in stock.
