Thanks my friend. I'm really enjoying this one. I went there again this jan and had a nice chat with the guys. Thought about getting a second one but I don't need to start a collection of everything I buy

Am I right in assuming that pipe tobacco smoke is not inhaled?

You're right but I can't resist and I inhale at least part of it. One of the reasons I don't smoke cigars.

I'd like to see it make a comeback. They were very popular in the 70s.
I've never been much of a drinker but when I go out socially I do prefer to go to a (typically cigar) smoking lounge.
The nice thing about pipes is that it's mostly faster than a cigar and, as a bearded man, the smell of smoke doesn't permeate my beard and mustache as much following a pipe as much as following a cigar.
Barring the cost of the pipe and accessories, pipe smoking seems much less expensive than cigars so that's also nice.

My Grandad smoked a pipe and I love the smell when I very occasionally smell someone smoking one.

But can I ask why have you bought one? – presumably for a tobacco ‘hit’?
I assume you smoke cigars/cigs already?

Yes I do, Andy. My grandfather had one too. Love the smell and taste. I'm very happy with this one. Very well made.

Occasional cigar just in social situations.
