Making "real" red on a single color bezel is not the same as making it on a bi-color bezel.

Very true however isn't it more of a pinky red than red-red?

We are going off topic oops

Yes, but that's precisely why it is pinky. Well, this is my non expert opinion anyway. They need to color the entire bezel, and then do the other side in order to do a bi-color. If one side is black, they just make the perfect color they are looking for and then make the other side black to completely cover the other color. When we eventually see the coke bezel, you'll see how different the red looks.

The Pepsi with red and blue was, imo, a compromise that they had to make in order to get both colors on there. The red couldn't be quite red and the blue couldn't be quite blue, so you end up with a "kind of" with both colors. They probably had to start with a red that wasn't quite red, in order to get to a blue on the other side. If it started too red, they wouldn't be able to get as close to blue on the other side as they did.

I thought this is why they did the BLNR, simply as they couldnt at the time knock out a ceramic pepsi red but could do blue

If/When Rolex discontinue the Hulk, it will go pass US$20K. If Rolex put 3235 movement in Hulk with revised dial marker at SWISS MADE, the new ones will be above US$20K and the old one will be around $13K.

Who knows... but I believe the Hulk is one of the rarest Stainless Steel models in the current line-up.

Rolex is not even in the same neighborhood as Patek, in fact it is not even on the same damn planet.

What’s the difference between the Kermit and the Hulk?

I just bought my brand new green Sub from my AD the day before yesterday, I waited about a month for mine. My short wait time was due having purchased lots of expensive diamond jewelry for my wife recently.

...hummmm... looks what happened to the MK1 BLNR... they have jumped up since the new tacky looking jubilee MK2... only time will tell...

True, I believe that Rolex is a long way off Patek. But Rolex is definitely catching up to AP. Or at least trying to do so. Additionally, seems like AP is trying to put themselves in a grave. I mean whole code 11.59 they released is a joke and I think it'll hit their brand perception.

Think of this. When has a company made 800,000 of something every single year and it's still not enough !

Yes, it has happened. Not all Hulk purchases have been based on relationships or bundles. Sometimes it’s just the right place and right time.

In simple terms, the Kermit is the older model with black dial and metal bezel.
Hulk is green dial and green ceramic bezel.

I know that Patek is a piece of art and that Rolex makes more watches in one year than Patek has ever built, blah blah. But they are in the same solar system, at least
