Digging up a 1.5 months old thread :) I solved my problem by trading 16570 and 58 plus cash for a new BLRO.
No more watches for me for a while. |

If you are committed to buying a Rolex, have you considered a Yachtmaster 116622? Available in a number of colours, it has the smaller case size which you seem to favour. It is also available for around the 10k mark through grey sellers. A YM would also offer some visual diversity to the watches you already have in your collection.

Buy a Tudor Tiger 79260 with silver dial and black subs, it looks like a 6263 Daytona but is 40mm and not the smaller 37mm of the 6263. It will cost you $5k, much more upside than any Submariner or modern Rolex. Then invest the $5k and enjoy your watch rise in value.
