Cool.

120-300 should be a fun useful lens.

I was almost "BUSTED" by my wife when the FEDEX Truck showed up as it was impossible to hide such a large shipping box and on top of that , says overnight Saturday arrival.. I am just about to try and set the D850 basics up.. I plan on shooting in Av Mode RAW.. There is a setting for AUTO ISO too..?

My wife would have some issues with the *first* $1,000 shaving brush. I thought $100 was a splurge. :D
She doesn’t mind my camera/watch purchases.

OP - you find ways to spend money I didn’t even know existed. It’s entertaining.

Just tell her the lens is for social distancing.

You can't use anything under 100 until there's a vaccine.

She has not said anything more to me about it as I was out taking pictures of my 2 grandsons on my fat bikes with the Nikon D5 and 200 F/2 VR2.. I just love that combo. I put that lens on the body 2 years ago and have never ever removed it..

Nice.

Been a long time since I used a fixed lens. Hasselblad days I guess.

Once you start with the new zoom you may never go back again.

Put them back in their boxes. Also maybe consider using a mirror to take photos of the camera. Then you wouldn't need to have so many of the same item. Let's see some photos you take with these things, rather than the camera and its box.

Well it's a nice addition to your box collection.

You're gonna need a new wing added to your house.

Tell your wife you just collect boxes, and not camera equip.

I look forward to your impressions on the 120-300.

Even as a pro I never had a 2.8. They are heavier and I just didn't find I needed it.

In fact the longest I had was 70-200.
