Agreed. And I respect anyone's right to an opinion and to state it, although it is sometimes impossible to respect the opinion. It works in both directions.

My wife is rocking her X33 today. And very good it looks too. She had a good laugh when she saw the OP.

For a while I dated a girl who worked as an international flight attendant(up the front).
She exclusively wore a 5 digit Sub which looked pretty cool on her. Of course she had a personality that could pull it off as well.

You’re rocking it girl !
As any woman that feels comfortable wearing a 40mm watch would !
I love my sub and I can actually read it without squinting .

Not sure the op thinks he has the right to comment on what your wife wears. LOL I’m confused by why you’d ask this.

Whatever watch she wears, make sure it’s waterproof

It all depends on the wrist size but my eyes like the looks of 34-36 for women. But to each their own.

Once I got a SD43, my wife grabbed my ND SubC and is very happy with it wearing it as a daily watch.

The same rules apply to both men and women. It depends on wrist size.

In my view, it depends on how a person feels/perceives whether a watch fits or not. In other words, everything in the head.

Lets take gender out of this, I think any human who wears a watch where the lugs hang over the wrist bone looks strange. Then again, it's really none of my business.

Daytonas look great on women. The nurse that gave me my flu shot last year was wearing one and she was smoking hot.

My wife wears my YG Submariner on occasion and it looks big, but fine. She looks at it like jewelry and will still look at her phone for the time.

To the OP I actually think a 40mm on a woman looks great. I think it’s an edgy look that many women can pull off without it looking overly masculine.

Women can get away wearing anything oversized.
‘Boyfriend’ shirts, huge handbag and oversize watches.

my wife is tiny with tiny wrists. My guess below average wrist size. She rocks a 36mm DJ and I think it looks awesome. My guess is that it wears similarly to 40mm on an average-ish woman's wrist size.

And Cartier Pasha

My wife wears a Hulk and a two-tone Daytona.

Are the a little big for her? I do not think so. Nor does she.

These are fashion pieces to most women so slightly oversized is fine.
