It won’t be an AP at the end.

I like the Royal Oak a lot but I think would not wear it as a daily because it’s not a watch that looks good once it has some scratches.

I have started to become interested in AP over the last few months, and went to see them in the flesh while I was in London last week. I had the chance to see the white dial in a few variations, the dial and finish on these watches is totally on another level, and the white dial is incomparable. I’d do that trade in a second.

It does. Look at all the beat up AP RO's and PP nautilus. Just wear it and enjoy it.

Glad you made a decision. IMHO, AP RO with its marvelous case/bracelet and caseback display is a fine elegant timepiece. Mine is daily but I wear long sleeve shirts everyday. Look forward to seeing your incoming piece.

The AP will stay stable enough - although the 15450 white or grey dials do drop a bit. Blue dial does not.
