Looks like papa's very happy about his new bluesy, it's very nice and noble of you.
I gave Dad my McQueen Expy II. He had been eyeballing it for years...Now I'm eyeballing it

Jen, your father is very lucky to have as thoughtful a daughter as you!!!
The giving of a gift such as this watch is priceless and shows the boundless love you have for your Dad!!!
I know it has to make you feel good and I know your father must feel pride in raising a caring, giving daughter!!!

Giving your father 'the other watch' first must have really got the Submariner under the radar for an even bigger surprise.

I have to say it looks so right, like it was made for your father's wrist.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEN'S DAD Finally it's on his wrist. The Movado play was great. The Sub looks perfect on him. Great job.
I sincerely hope his health issue is a minor one and I know he's going to enjoy thinking of you each time he looks at his new watch. to all.

Nope! Our families live in different areas so they don't get together much. We were all in the car yesterday and my dad was on the phone with him... he said "your wife bought you a Rolex submariner?" We couldn't believe it!

Thanks for all the great wishes everyone! Dad's doctor called yesterday too, everything is ok (just needs a small surgery to have a lump removed - but the lump is benign)

Great news Jen.

Your pa is lucky to have such a lovely watch but even luckier to have such a great daughter.

Seeing as you're so great I offer you this free advice....

"Beware southern gentleman on training wheels bearing the faint odour of crab snacks!"

Great gesture

What's really funny to me is that folks like us would use a Movado, which most people consider a pinnacle watch, to use as a distraction for giving a Rolex!

I love it!

Yea David when I was youner and dating, I have had to use the old bait and switch routine a few times when I ran out of chloroform.

Hey Jen, great gesture and I love the TT SUB. After looking at the picture of your dad, I must be older than everyone!

Dad just called me. He was setting the time since he hasn't worn the watch and it slowed down.

He said he has to get it ready to show off at work tomorrow (he was off all last week).
Ah, the feeling of a new watch!

I also realize I need to buy him a winder!
