2021 we should see something new with the Explorer II

Almost certainly more dial options for the new DJ/DD 36.

Probably new dial options for the OP range as well. Perhaps even a new, slimmer case for OP36, just like the new DJ36? Apart from the different lug finish, the old DJ36 and current OP36 share the same case blueprint, am I right? If so, it makes sense that the OP36 gets the new, leaner case as well.

It's also very likely to see the new movement being introduced to the Submariner, probably first in a precious metal variant. Also likely that this comes with a change to the proportions, marking the new generation of design. The Maxi-case has been around long now and is due for a change.

This is what I’m thinking is likely to happen, plus some other novelties/variants on existing pieces that are pretty much impossible to predict.

My wishlist for the next generation Submariner: Slimmer lugs, slimmer crown guards and a matte ceramic bezel insert. Case proportions somewhere in between the old 14060/16610 and the Maxi.

A matte insert would further distance it from the GMTs, and would look absolutely awesome on a Sub.

Definitely expect to see a new Sub movement.

Past time for TT RG Daytonas, isn't it? I'd buy one for my wife tomorrow.

Too much gmt changes the past year, so i think they would leave the gmts as is, and make changes to other models...

A few dial colors and maybe a bezel change. Oh yeah, that new movement in something. Nothing really exciting

How about a navy blue SD43? That would be a killer watch.

I'm betting we see #3, only in TT.

The six digit Sub has always had this. I always adjust the Glidelock without removing the watch. It is just slightly more difficult than taking the watch off to adjust the clasp.

A new chronograph, 42mm. I find it odd Rolex only has the Daytona within their lineup.

We can call it the 116615 LN or 126715 LN (if it has a new movement).

Edit: this one is with no date, so model 114065 or 124065.

I would like to see an all black bezel GMT on jubilee (to differentiate it from the sub) with red letters and red gmt hand.

Yes but from what I heard the DSSD have an even better version that can be adjusted easier.

Tightening the bracelet on the wrist still poses the same difficulty on the DSSD as the SubC, just releases the glidelock teeth differently.

What about if the release the new movement Submariner line with a non-date 3,6,9 dial! Wow. I'd be very excited.

A new platinum model.

Either a Sky Dweller or Sub.
