My guess:
1. Dirty/dried oil and needs cleaned,
2. Cracked jewel, causes friction and will stop the movement.
3. Broken balance staff, unusual but possible.

APSC is great.

My 5164a just got sent in after suddenly stopping, it happens. They will take care of it and get it back relatively quickly (6 weeks or so).

Aren't you in the NYC area? I'm surprised you didn't just drop into the boutique, they'll handle everything for you so you don't have to.

With the money you spend why deal with a 3rd party boutique?

Just go straight to the NYC boutique, don't bother waiting for Las Vegas. They're not going to do anything special that the NYC boutique won't do.

I own two 44RG, one 44WC and one 44SS.. all have issues.. AP replaced one of the RG and the rest went back for free service and changed chrono hands. I have not been using any of my 44 since 2017.

That's really abnormal in my experience. If you haven't gone to AP in NY, call up Betsy Toelle at APSC, she rocks.

Anyone else have this issue. They said they will send it into service apparently.

Few questions
1) how long will this take?
2) what u guys think is wrong with it

A little irritated

AP movement always broke. even the garbage hublot unico movement is much much stronger. stay to patek and rolex movement./
